Fondamentalmente la trama ricalca quella del capolavoro citato in precedenza,ma girandolo come se fosse un nuovo capitolo di Paranormal Activity quindi tutto con telecamerine a mano ( che fanno sempre subito tanto Indie economico ) però di orrore non c’è traccia, niente jump scare, niente splatter oppure apparizioni, solo qualche rumorino ed una secchiata di WTF ( solo a me il simbolo di satana ha ricordato il logo dell’euro ?) a livello di ritmo Devil’s Due alterna un primo troncone lentissimo tipo i 20/30 min iniziali di Cloverfield ad un finale in completa caciara.
Nel cast troviamo Allison Miller ( Terranova ), Zach Gilford ( The last Stand ) e Sam Anderson ( Forrest Gump ), a livello recitativo non è neanche malissimo, ma a poco serve quando è la sceneggiatura ad essere lacunosa o mal fatta.
Devil’s Due \ La stirpe del male è ben sotto la mia sufficienza arrivando stiracchiandosi al 5, guardabile solo in una serata di noia totale, meglio se distante dalla luna di miele.
