Il regista italiano Gabriele Salvadores torna nel mondo della fantascienza che già aveva affrontato nel 1997 con Nirvana , una pellicola che per il panorama italiano è una perla rara, non perchè è bella ma perchè è raro trovare fantascienza in italy …per di più se contate Abatantuono come protagonista un po’ action.
Con Il ragazzo Invisibile Il premio oscar del bel paese ci ricasca …nella sua testa risuona tù vuo fà l’ammericano e decide di gettarsi a testa bassa nelle atmosfere super eroiche ,in realtà più che altro alla spettatore fan dei fumetti sembrerà più che abbia pescato a mani basse “scippando” tutto ciò che poteva alle origini del fumetto made in USA,fin troppo visto che in alcuni momenti gli eventi sembreranno così a stelle e strisce da rendere poco credibile l’ambientazione triestina delle vicende,l’aula a gradoni dove è ambientata la scuola crea molto ambiente collegiale,cosi come la festa in costume dove proseguono le scene ,peccato che il cast sia di 13 enni e non di 20enni .

Il contesto a fumetti è esplicitato sia sotto forma di citazioni,che sotto vere e proprie parti di trama ,gli speciali ricordano molto da vicino gli eroi di Heroes ,le origini con bulli che prendono in giro il protagonista è presissimo da spiderman e dalla figura di Flash Thompson,questa è solo parte degli omaggi trovabili nel proseguire dei minuti.
Lo sviluppo della trama è semplice e rende il film molto appetibile ai ragazzi ed alle serie di film pomeridiane a loro dedicate,non è impegnativa,non crea solide basi di background,accenna e mostra scene e poco dopo le corregge per mostrare altri dettagli,nessuno dei personaggi è veramente carismatico o particolarmente esplorato in qualche suo aspetto e la struttura del cattivo lo rende più un boss intermedio che un vero villans, tanto è vero che la fine getta un sasso verso possibili sequel ,di cui però non ho ancora saputo nulla.

Visto tutte le attese che hanno tentato di montare intorno a questo film con pubblicità spinta a gonfie vele ovunque fra radio e TV , sinceramente mi aspettavo qualcosa di più,nel bene o nel male,nessuna mossa azzardata avrei forse accolto meglio un film uscito peggio ma più sperimentale che una pellicola basica e credo non degna di nota per un premio oscar che ha girato cose come Mediterraneo ed Io non ho paura ( per citarne solo 2 ) ,ovvio che fino a che il suo unico competitor italiano rimane capitan basilico sembra fare quasi bella figura .
