Con Dots ci troviamo di fronte al tipico gioco libera mente,lo scopo è unire i pallini di uguale colore con linee in verticale o orizzontale,tutto molto semplice , ancora di più se pensiamo che la partita si può giocare in due modalità single player: a tempo o a mosse ; la prima prevede di fare più punti possibili in 60 secondi ,la seconda di racimolarli in 21 mosse.
Queste 2 modalità rendono il gioco veloce ed adatto anche per una partita casuale giusto per passare l’attesa di fare qualcos’altro; un altro punto positivo è la grafica minimale ,sfondo bianco e pallini semplici e tenui per non accecare il giocatore,animazione semplice e fluida per la scomparsa e la caduta di nuovi pallini.

Sono presenti anche degli aiuti di gioco(un numero dati di default e poi “pagabili” con i punti dots) che potranno ad esempio freezare il tempo per qualche secondo oppure eliminare un colore dal tavolo.
